I think that I can understand where you’re coming from. I've had difficulty sleeping for around three years, and I too have found that both alternative and manufactured remedies are either ineffective give the feeling that they are doing more harm than good!

I've found that lifestyle is important but spending all day at a computer is hard to balance out, even with the most enthusiastic of eating habits and exercise. My best ideas come to me just before going to sleep, but this has turned into a torturous rant which can last for hours, keeping me awake. I have only started to sleep properly now that I have realised that the rewards of a good night's sleep are greater than playing with ideas that I'm too tired to remember when I wake up let alone put into practice.

Well, that’s my story and I hope that you can take something from it.

Best of luck.
