This solution helped to make my Dell D630 silent as the sound gets to the headphones at maximum volume. Thanks this rescued my eardrums from getting blasted.

Figured it out. The system beep that was playing was MY system, not the server. Guess it got passed through, even though I tried to shut that down, too. Now, I won't bother my wife in bed when logged on to the server at the office. Yay! Thanks!

Ok, so I tried this, and it didn't work. Maybe I'm a little different. Here's my scenario:

1. Running Windows Server 2008
2. Remoting in over mstsc
3. Hearing a ton of system beeps, which annoy the crap out of me.
4. Have turned off audio everywhere I can think of and still nothing. Any help???
