And sadly I don't think I could afford to convert the GTI to an EV. But seriously EV's kick ass. I mean dude, look at the Tesla, imagine that car were 30K how awesome would that be? Day to day I don't drive more than 60 miles an EV is a perfect solution for me. I just want something that's fun to drive regardless if it is clean or is as bad as a Hummer. My hope is that by the time I can afford an EV I can afford to add some solar panels to the house and not only power the house but the EV too.
